Guru Purnima

Guru Purnima is a traditional celebration dedicated to honouring teachers, mentors, and guides who shape our lives with their wisdom and knowledge. Observed on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July), it holds deep spiritual and cultural significance across India.

Guru Purnima is also associated with great spiritual traditions. It is believed to mark the birth anniversary of Sage Vyasa, the author of the Mahabharata, who is revered as one of the greatest gurus. Across India, the day is observed with prayers, offerings, and acts of respect towards teachers and mentors.
