This leg of the journey took the team across diverse regions of India, building a deeper understanding of local cultures, traditions, languages and everyday life. Rather than simply observing, the team took part directly in activities connected to HKC’s core themes, identifying opportunities for future initiatives along the way. Conversations with heads of administration and representatives from universities, hospitals and spiritual centres helped build new connections and exchange fresh perspectives. A significant part of the journey was also spent visiting religious and spiritual sites, offering respect and gaining insight into the rich diversity of beliefs and traditions encountered.
Along the way, the team met with several distinguished figures, including the head of a leading hospital, a Vice Chancellor, a Deputy Director, and trustees from three universities across different regions. The itinerary took in religious sites of multiple faiths, academic institutions, hospitals, tribal schools and villages, each visit generating its own discussions and insights. Formal lectures were delivered at university level, paired with informal brainstorming sessions alongside senior faculty and officials, encouraging a genuine exchange of ideas.
